She's a brickhouse...
All of me is asking, all of me is thinking...

And, yeah, I really do think...

You remember that post where I was joking around about Hollywood-ized, out-there names for our baby if it happens to be a boy? Well, there has been a rather unexpected side effect courtesy of Jen (one of our SiLs).

Since we don't know the gender of our baby and we're not planning to find out and therefore cannot use stand-in names like "Baby Boy A" or "Baby Girl A" or even gender-specific pronouns like "he," "him," "she," or "her," Jen has taken to calling our baby by one of the names in that blog post.

She's been calling our baby "Chewie." And she says she will probably continue calling our baby "Chewie" just as a nickname. Katie's mom is afraid right now that the name will actually stick. Not to the degree where it winds up on the baby's birth certificate or anything, but still.

While I can understand the concern with the name sticking and possibly confusing the kid during its early, formative years, I do dig the name "Chewie." And, against our better judgment, Katie and I have caught ourselves actually using the name on occasion.

Hey, at least it's not "Blue Ivy."

But, being the geek I am, I'm kinda running with the whole "Chewie" appelation. And I've been researching available baby onesies to complement it. Hey, kids kinda do sound like Wookies when they first come out before developing recognizable language skills, right?

Here's where you come in... we need help deciding on one. I've got pictures below and each one links to the page where it's being sold if you would like a different view or more details. Then vote below in the survey on your favorite one.

In the movie Tombstone, Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) said near the end of the movie, "My hypocrisy knows no bounds."

It's a pretty profound self revelation, as far as I'm concerned. I just wish more people would realize it.

Like this dude I was following during my morning commute today.

Hypocrisy Abounds

Just in case you can't see it all that well, the bumper sticker reads "GM - Government Motors" with the "o" in "Government" replaced with the Barack Obama O logo. What this basically means, to the best of my estimation, is that the driver of this car is very much against the Obama administration's bailout of General Motors (GM).

Not really a big deal. I know a ton of people that don't support the bailouts.

What ruffles my feathers is the fact that this hypocritical douche is driving a Pontiac Vibe. PONTIAC IS OWNED BY GM!!! So, this guy is saying that he doesn't support the bailing out of the company but he'll buy from them anyway.

If he was as fanatical about his anti-bailout stance as this bumper sticker purports, he would've gotten rid of the Vibe (if he owned it prior to the bailouts) and purchased a car from a manufacturer that didn't receive a bailout. If he bought the Vibe post-bailout, he's just an idiot. Plain and simple.

I almost left his license plate on the car unedited just because he deserved to be called out on this.

Oh, and that little round yellow sticker on the other side of the bumper? "Don't Tread on Me."

And the hits keep comin'.
