Today was supposed to be Nathan's first day of daycare.
Well, that didn't quite happen.
Since he's as young as he is, we're not allowed to give him any sort of medication.
Instead of running the risk of others at daycare catching it, I stayed home from work.
This does not, however, mean I didn't work. At the same time that I was in attendance for a conference call, I fed Nathan, changed him, gave him a bath, and set a doctor's visit for him. Dems mad skillz, I tells ya.
Now I'm feeding him again, blogging, and eating my own lunch all while preparing for a second conference call. Oh, and I'm trying to teach Nathan the fine art of high fiving.
Daddy Day Care is in session!
Not totally unrelated, but if you'd like to know how his doctor's appointment went, it's an upper respiratory infection. Nothing in his lungs, which is VERY good.
And, as to his growth over the last two months (I managed to roll his four-month check-up into this appointment, save for vaccinations), he's now 26 inches long, 17 inch head circumference, and he weighs in at 15 pounds.
Little kid ain't so little anymore, is he? He's doubled his weight in two and a half months. And the doctor is VERY happy with his progress. So, we are happy as well!
