If your RSS aggregators went a little nuts with kapgar love yesterday, I truly apologize. I was in the process of posting some of the posts from my old static HTML blog and forgot to change the posting dates. So they all went live as posts yesterday and probably inundated your reader. I realized my mistake pretty early and fixed the dates, but likely too late to save your reader. I'm really sorry.

Of course the last Snippet does imply that I've gotten some work done towards one of my 2013 Goal Posts. The one where I promised to blogify my static HTML blog. I got four months worth of posts transferred over. What I've been enjoying is that I've added some "editor's notes" to a few of them. Since the posts are so short, I may try to make this semi regular as the commentary can be fun. Rather like a Statler and Waldorf view of my writing and what was happening in my life at the time.
Thrones
While I'm more than halfway through season two of Game of Thrones the TV show, I'm still only 2/3 of the way through the book. How sad is that? I've been enjoying it, but cannot get myself to truly commit to finishing it. Maybe by the time Nathan starts preschool.
Early
On Monday night, a father and his six-month-old daughter were shot several times each while he tried to change her diaper in the backseat of his car in a Chicago neighborhood. The daughter died yesterday morning and the father is still in intensive care. It turns out the dad is a gangbanger with an extensive criminal record for which his infant daughter paid with her life. Stupid.
RIP Jonylah. You were taken far too soon.
Smoke
Do you think anyone has investigated the environmental impact of the smoke used in Papal conclaves? Like a VCEPA (Vatican City Environmental Protection Agency)? THE CONCLAVES ARE KILLING OUR PLANET!!!
