Graffiti art has always intrigued me. Sadly there's never much around where I live. It always tends to get painted over. So, when I do see it, I like to take some pictures, no matter how bad it might be.

Welcome to yet another fine, but cold, Snippet Wednesday. Bundle up. It's gonna be nasty out there.
Ah, the dance begins.
Not as difficult this past week as evidenced by the many correct guesses.
You all know the desert island challenge, right? Where you are told to pick the single item of a given group if you were stuck on a desert island? For example, what book would you take with you to a desert island knowing it would be your only book. That sort of thing.
I've been at this whole Fitbit thing now for a quarter of a year (give or take a week), and I've been enjoying it. Setting up this 10,000 steps per day goal for this is, I feel, one of the best goals I've set for myself in a long time. Nothing sedentary like watching TV or whatnot.
While on one of my recent midday work walks (read: lunch break), I saw this...
It is currently 39 degrees out (that's in Fahrenheit) and snow is starting to melt away slowly but, hopefully, surely. Katie reported seeing grass. Sure, it was brown and muddy, but it was grass.
Let's celebrate with a Snippet Wednesday, shall we?
Over the weekend, Katie and I got our first Blu-Ray disc player. Up to this point, we'd only owned an HDMI-up converted DVD player for our 42" plasma and a standard DVD player for our 32" LCD.
Another low guess yielding macro photo last week. I really thought it would be easier but at least there was one correct guess and that was from Ren, a man who knows macro photography very well.
A very happy birthday to the love of my life!
Don't worry, hon. I know better than to say how many it's been. But it's still less than me, so enjoy it.
I love you! So does Nathan!
Corneal abrasion. That's the official diagnosis with what's wrong with my eye. Something scratched my cornea right on top of my retina directly in my line of sight hence why my vision has been so brutally painful since yesterday afternoon.
Back in November or December, I was griping about our cable bill and how we were in the process of switching from Comcast/Xfinity to AT&T U-verse as a cable provider. Also about how happy we were with the deal we were getting.
Welcome to Snippet Wednesday. At least I think it's Wednesday. It is, isn't it? I haven't been to work a single day this week and have completely lost track of time. Help me out here.
I only had one guess in last week's Macro Monday. I'm guessing it was really tough. As I admitted, even I wouldn't have gotten it. I considered leaving it up another week but I don't think anyone would continue guessing so I'm going to give you the answer as per my normal plan.
I had to bid a fond farewell to two good friends this weekend. Both were favorite pairs of jeans. Both developed irreparable holes in areas that they shouldn't have holes. Not even for the sake of style.
The online world is all a-twitter (see what I did there?) about Amazon's latest list -- the 100 books to read in a lifetime.
Back in mid-January, Kim posted about a tech junk drawer in her house and highlighted a lot of the stuff that is in there. It was a pretty cool photographic stroll down Techie Memory Lane and I, of course, wanted to steal it and do one of my own. With her blessing, here it is.
Welcome to another fine Snippet Wednesday. Please keep your arms inside the vehicle at all times.
I'm not sure how closely you all pay attention to sites and companies that offer up free music. I used to be much more in tune (pun fully intended) with all that, but I've cut back a little bit of late. These days, I get free music mostly from Starbucks and iTunes.
Last week's Macro Monday challenge entry didn't garner as many guesses and I suppose that's because it was too easy and everyone saw their guess in the comments.
Nothing like getting up, getting dressed, walking a mile to the course, running an organized 5K, and walking a mile home to not only get the blood flowing but to get you over 12,500 steps before 11:15 a.m.
Where the heck did January go? Did anyone see it? I must've missed it completely. Ah well. Adios, Enero! Let's recap the month in terms of my 2014 Goals, okay?
