In the month leading up to us going to the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) event in January, Katie and I tried to find some way to make ourselves more "cowboy friendly."
We considered cowboy hats and boots but figured those would be too expensive especially for something we might not use again until the next local PBR event. After a bit more deliberation, we finally decided on big ol' belt buckles. But they had to be less cowboy and more "us" so we tried to find geeky ones. The kind that would make Howard Wolowitz proud.
I looked up superhero buckles, Star Wars buckles, and so many more, but I just couldn't find the one that moved me to click the Buy Now button. So I withheld purchase and simply wore a flannel to the PBR event, instead.
Last weekend, I went up in the attic to find our spring/Easter decorations and nab some more of my old LEGO stuff for Nathan when I found this gem...
I got this when I was a little kid living in Kentucky and likely haven't touched it since. But guess where I'll be wearing it next year.
