Macro Monday 2017.36...

Sometimes Nathan is an open book. You know what he thinks and means with no question whatsoever. He's simple.

Other times he's just a conundrum. He will contradict himself and interpretations we've made of his actions. And, well...

Here's an example.

We were recently in a toy store and Nathan was looking at something and checking it out pretty carefully before putting it back down and announcing that he won't play with it because it's a "girls' toy." I have no idea where that came from. Katie and I have never said something is a boys' or girls' toy, ever. I hate that some people feel that there should be such a dichotomy. Play with whatever you want.

In fact, these Star Wars Forces of Destiny dolls are, IMHO, one of the coolest toys out there right now. Release a Hera Syndulla and I will buy it.

I also firmly stand behind my assessment that the greatest innovation by LEGO in the last few years is in the Friends line

So, yes, I'm confused especially since Nathan will readily watch shows you'd think would be considered girls' fare like Shimmer & Shine or something else I think he said was called Sunny Day, but I could be wrong on that.

Can someone explain this to me?
