A little bit ago, I blogged about my disdain for misleading headlines. I said I hate how they give you an incorrect impression about what is contained in the article and leave you more disappointed than informed. Well, maybe not in so many words, but still and all the same.
This morning, I awoke to find this on the lock screen of my iPhone...
I immediately thought, “Dang! We won’t have to wait for him to be impeached or resign! Intelligence officials will assassinate him and blame some random three-name killer who will then be killed off him/herself!”
Of course I clicked into it!
Imagine my disgust when all it was about was the fact that the remaining files in the JFK assassination investigation are due to be released by the end of the month per a dictate that came out back in the early 90s. All Trump has to do with it is that he’s refusing to stop it.
I’m actually happy he’s not going to stop it. He shouldn’t. Trump is really a non-factor in all this.
But that headline makes it seem like he is the driving force behind this information release, doesn’t it? Or like he has more that he found to release.
