Did I mention that Katie and I rejoined our old gym? Technically, she started back on Black Friday because they were having a special deal for the final days of 2017. I never went until the final day of the deal.
Then we officially rejoined in the second week of January. We’ve been making it a point to go 3-4 days a week, too.
I try to rotate on a three workout cycle: upper body day, lower body day, cardio day, lather, rinse, repeat.
Katie has been doing a Couch to 5K app because running has always been the most effective way for her to lose weight and it’s really been working. She has done some lifting in there as well, but her focus is the app routine. She’s had two days in a row this week where she has run 2.1 miles already!
It’s not always easy, as you’d expect. Sometimes I just don’t want to get up with my alarm. But I’m doing this for Katie and Nathan. That’s what I have to tell myself. They are my greater good.
Hopefully that’s all I need to do to keep pumping (not so much blowing).
Oh The Pirate Movie was truly terrible, wasn’t it?
