I don't know if you all read the same way I do, but sometimes it takes me a while to hit that proverbial stride when I crack open a new book.
But, man oh man, does it feel great once I do find that rhythm.
Take, for example, my reading of Stephen King's It. I've been at, well, it for nearly eight months. A little here, a little there. For six months, I only got through about 33% of the book.
Then I started back into it in earnest a month ago and have since nearly doubled my position in the book in just a month's time, as opposed to six months of on and off reading.
And it's an amazing book! If you haven't read It, I strongly recommend it based on what I've read so far.
If the book holds up as well as it has to this point, this could easily become one of my favorite books of all time.
