Trailers...

As stated, I saw Hereditary last night. As much as I wanted to see it, I was severely let down. Just meh. However, I did get to see some fun trailers beforehand.

(Yes, it’s sad when the trailers are better than the feature, but you take what positives you can get.)

Searching looks amazing. I love John Cho and feel he’s just such an underrated talent. So I will be seeing this.

Mile 22 looks a bit cheesy but any chance to see Lauren Cohan kick some ass is a good thing.

When I first saw the trailer for The Meg, I thought there was no way I’d want to see this. But the more I thought about it, the more I realize this plays heavily into my love of giant monster movies like King Kong, Godzilla, Pacific Rim, etc. plus it stars Jason Statham and Rainn Wilson. That pairing alone makes it worth a shot.

I watched the first Purge a couple years ago and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. That has not resulted in me seeing either of the two sequels and I’m not sure it equates to me seeing The First Purge, which covers how it all started. But if this is your thing, knock yourself out.

Admittedly I did not see the Peppermint trailer last night. Katie saw it a couple weeks ago and made me watch it. As we’re so into Jennifer Garner kicking ass on Alias right now, I wouldn’t mind seeing it on the big screen. Bring it on, Bristow.

What’s on your must-see list?
