I guess this one was tougher than expected. I really expected at least one person to just throw out, “mouse laser!” Alas...
I did get several people guessing that last week's Macro Monday Challenge Photo was some kind of sports ball. The most popular guesses were basketball and football (of the North American variety). Good thing, because the correct answer was a basketball.
Lots of people got last week’s challenge photo. I expected as such as I left the wrapper underneath it as a clue.
A lot of people got last week’s challenge photo. Because it became so obvious, some of you got creative. I appreciate that. Anyway...
So, um, no one got last week’s challenge photo. And, so far as I can tell, it didn’t post on Facebook. Not sure what happened with that one. Sorry about that.
I know I said that I didn’t expect anyone to get last week’s challenge photo. At least, no one outside my office. So imagine my surprise when two people did get it. Okay, one, as the other is a coworker. Yeah yeah.
I had a really good guess on last week’s challenge photo from Marty that it was a Norelco shaver blade. One of those spinny ones, yanno? I dug it. Alas, it was not correct.
I honestly thought that I didn’t zoom in enough on last week’s challenge photo and that a ton of people would get it immediately. No one did. I zoomed in too much. Clearly.
I actually did have one correct guess on Facebook for last week’s Macro Monday challenge photo. Yes, I gave you all a fake clue. Sorry about that. I was curious to see if you all pay attention to what I write to accompany a posting.
Kazza came closest to the correct answer on last week’s challenge photo with a guess of “Some weird monkey.” Shockingly she, of all people, did not guess LEGO monkey. She’s a LEGO junkie! It’s inconceivable! But this guess will have to do.
I truly was shocked by the number of people who got last week’s challenge photo correct. Way to go!
It’s hard to call this a definitive Macro Monday solution as it is a photo of an unknown succulent that Ren snapped at a restaurant. But here it is (cleverly titled, to boot).
As stated on social media, Macro Monday is all about perspective. Wouldn’t you agree?
As a result of not personally using Facebook anymore, I have no idea if anyone there is actually taking correct stabs at my Macro Monday challenge photos. So, as far as I know, @a_a_astoria on Instagram is the only one who got this...
Last week’s challenge photo was more difficult than I anticipated. But I love the photo so much!
I told you last week’s challenge photo was too easy.
I did get a few correct guesses on last week’s challenge photo. I thought it was tougher than it turned out to be.
Awwww, yeahhhh... CASSETTE TAPES REPRESENT!!
Several people guessed that last week’s challenge photo is a Mason jar. Those several people would be spot-on.
Yup, a few people did indeed guess last week’s challenge photo correctly. No, you didn't need to get as specific as “Superman.” How could you? Alas...
If not for the color distortion, more than just the two or three people who guessed this Macro Monday challenge photo correctly would likely have gotten it.
I get pretty excited when someone who has never correctly guessed a Macro Monday challenge photo finally gets one. It’s pretty darn cool.
Hey, sorry for the delay on this post. Typepad had scheduled maintenance last night and I couldn’t get a post written. So this is gonna be backdated. Anyway...
I guess I had two toughies in a row. No correct guesses. But I knew it would be a difficult one. It was more an attempt to make you look at something common in a different way.
I admit that I was truly worried last week’s challenge photo would be too easy. Nobody got it. Nobody! Seriously.
I’m unsure whether that happy middle ground between easy Macro Monday and tough Macro Monday will be discovered this week. I guess we’ll see, won’t we?
Last week’s challenge photo was too tough...
Wayyyyyy too many people got last week’s challenge photo. So many I’m not even sure who was first. Kind of a waterfall effect. I post; everyone guesses.
I really wish timestamping of comments in social media was better. I had a correct guess on Facebook at almost the same time as a correct guess cane through on Instagram. I guess both Stef and Christa win.
Congrats to Marty who came closest on last week’s challenge photo with Spider-Man’s belly. While not his belly, the hero in question was certainly correct.
I lost count of all the people who got last week’s challenge photo correct. So let’s just say EVERYONE GOT IT!!!
Pretty much everyone got last week’s challenge photo. So, um, yeah, it was too easy.
I don’t think anyone got last week’s Macro Monday challenge photo. If someone did, please let me know and I’ll update this post. Cool? Anyway, here it is...
There were lots of almost correct guesses... pliers, needle nose pliers... all good. Then a friend on Instagram guessed “one of those needle-nose scissor-action tool things” and how could I say no. Sounded pretty close to...
