My name is Kevin Apgar and I am the founder, maintainer, primary cynic, chairman of the board, et cetera, behind this red-headed stepchild of a Web site known as kapgar.com. I am a graduate of Northern Illinois University and I work in the Web world.
This site has been in existence in some way, shape, or form since 1998 when I took my first Web design class in grad school at NIU. I never thought it would last this long, but, apparently, I like to type even if no one reads.
My interests include spending time with my wife, photography, blogging, working out, watching movies, reading books, playing some sports not particularly well, and just generally trying to make the most out of life.
So, make me feel good about myself and give this site a read. You won't regret it. And, even if you do, I claim no legal responsibility for anything that results from you reading this content.
If you'd like to read 100 arguably cool bits and pieces about me, check out my take on the 100 things meme (please note this was written in early 2006 and not all of it is still 100% accurate).
