What's in the news?
A happy family weekend in photos.
I'm taking part in a fun photo challenge for December. It's sponsored by Funko, the toy company behind those cool Pop statuettes and bobbleheads.
We don't just make kids hobby tables at Kasa Kapgar. We also re-finish dining room tables! Or, at least, we do now.
It only took six weeks and a couple pestering emails from me, but we finally got the URL of the host site where we could find Nathan's preschool class photos.
I'm trying to remember if I told you all that katie and I were building Nathan a LEGO table.
This morning, we did something I haven't done in several years... we carved a Jack o' Lantern!
As I drove down the lane, the final glints of light faded into an ethereal darkness. Although I was alone in my car, I was convinced I wasn't by myself.
I've got nothing. So how about I wow you with photography? And I use "wow" very loosely.
I like to go through a cemetery near where I work when on my lunchtime walk. Why? Cemeteries are beautiful. Peaceful. Empty (of the living).
I've seen people push for this on the web and social media in the past, but they never push hard enough. So I'm going to try one more time...
One of the first semi-social sites I ever used was Flickr, the photo sharing site.
Nathan is a loving kid full of pure intention and trust and joy. He will often tell Katie and I he loves us or give us random hugs and kisses or jump up in our laps to cuddle up. He seriously makes life worth living every day.
