Like hell on wheels...

When the heck did Sunday become the must-see TV night of the week?

It used to be Thursdays on NBC and it has since bounced around from night to night based on whatever each network decided was its primo evening of televised entertainment and advertised as such.

But one thing was for sure... Sunday was NEVER that night.

Now, however, Katie and I both watch Pan Am and The Good Wife. Then throw on top of that my addiction to The Walking Dead and my interest in tonight's series premiere of Hell on Wheels and suddenly my DVR doesn't know what the hell's going on.

Damn you, TV. I wish I knew how to quit you.

What's your worst (or "best," depending on how you look at it) night of TV?

One of the coolest things about being so into online communities is when you have the opportunity to meet some of these people IRL ("in real life" for those not in the know). And that happened today with some fellow...

I wanna taste...

I have no idea what Katie and I did to make this happen but, for some reason, we have no taste. Yeah yeah, I can just hear the jokes rolling in now, but I'm serious. Something happened on Saturday night...

Every Sunday people show up at our door around 5-6pm. We feed them dinner and play Uno (or Rock Band) and then we all settle down on the couch, loveseat, chairs and floor (6-8 people per week!) and watch The Walking Dead. When it's over we watch the last few days of Jeopardy. :)

Yeah, that sounds hectic, but fun.

I like Fridays for Supernatural, Fringe, and now Grimm. But Sundays are good, too. I like Once Upon a Time, The Good Wife, and The Walking Dead. I recorded Hell on Wheels, but haven't watched it yet. Haven't seen most of Sunday's shows, in fact, due to a broken TV. Thankfully, the DVR is still recording everything.

Once Upon a Time is a Sunday show, too? Dang.

First of all, I wish I knew how to quit TV as well. Not happening anytime soon that's for sure.

Lastly, I haven't been watching my "regular" shows on a regular basis now that I have DVR and all that fun stuff. It's so much more enjoyable to fast forward through the commercials. :)

There really is no other way to watch once you've owned a DVR. We rarely watch "live" anymore.

We don't really watch a lot of TV these days to be honest. We do watch The Disney Channel with the little one on a fairly regular basis. We also make it a point to watch The Amazing Race (Sunday) and Survivor (Wednesday). But other than that, I have no clue what's going on in TV land anymore. So many shows have come and gone and we're far too far behind to ever have any hope of catching up ;-)

That's not necessarily a bad place to be.
