But I can't tell you from the drugs...

I would just like to say that hydrocodone is a wonderful thing.

Ohhhh, baby!

I hurt my groinal and upper leg area on Wednesday and it's been getting progressively worse as the week has worn on. In fact, I was actually limping at work the whole day yesterday.

My hope was that everything would clear up enough so that I could hold off on going to the doctor this coming Monday, if at all.

It got so bad, though, that I wound up going to my doctor's office on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened. The doctor checked me out and prescribed me three drugs that he hopes will help get rid of everything. He said the next 24 hours are key... if things improve, no worries, just come in for a follow-up on Monday; if they get worse, I could be visiting my local ER tomorrow.

Another bad thing is that my doctor wants me to lay very low this weekend. I can't work out. I'm not allowed to lift heavy objects. I really should stay off my feet entirely.

I can't even go to the theater to see The Avengers on opening weekend.

"Avengers Assemble," my ass. More like "Kapgar Disassemble."

This blows.

Not the hydrocodone, though. That's just sheer joy!

Thanks, man. Me too.

I hope you are feeling better by now!

And I hope you somehow snuck out to see The Avengers. It was awesome. Make sure you stay after the end credits, per usual.

kapgar

I am feeling a bit better but not enough to see The Avengers. Maybe tomorrow night.

Marie

Ouch!! Hope you are ok!!

Not so far but there's still time. Thanks.

My co-worker jacked up his knee a good month ago and I've been watching him hobble about the office. So I can imagine the hobble you are doing there. Get that injury healed soon. There's an Avengers movie to be watched.

Thanks, man. That's the plan.

Avengers Assemble

I liked her repartee with Coulson that was carried over from the previous films. I liked that Tony wasn't the only person in the film who we'd seen interact with Coulson before now), and that Hulk-stalking-Black-Widow scene was strange.

Coulson's character was pretty well fleshed out as was his relationship with Pepper (that's what you were referring to, right?). Loved every bit of the film now that I've finally seen it.
