If I were green, I would die...

You'd really think that with a mind that derails and runs off course as readily as mine does, that putting together a Snippet Wednesday would be a breeze, wouldn't you?

You would be wrong. And that's just sad.

I'm starting to wonder if, like I did in the past with song lyrics, I should run a regular thing where I have you all submit a weblink to me and I comment on it as one of my weekly Snippets. Would you all go for that or too

Maybe I'll try it just to see how it takes.

In the meantime, though, sit back and enjoy another round of Snippets.

Kicks
Being told you're going to have a baby is one thing. Seeing an ultrasound makes it real. Feeling that baby kick inside your wife's belly makes it so stinkin' uber-real that you cannot believe it. And, this morning, baby be kickin' up a storm. I swear that kid was throwing out Jeet Kune Do moves that would make Bruce Lee proud! And Katie's still got four months to go. Oh she's in trouble. I love you, hon. Be strong.

Hulk
Katie sent me a link to an article discussing the furthered rumors of a new TV series featuring the Marvel Comics character Hulk. Not sure how similar it will be to the old 70s/80s series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, but it is being developed by Guillermo Del Toro of Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy directing fame. It also mentioned that Mark Ruffalo, who is playing Hulk and Bruce Banner in The Avengers, is signed to a multi-film deal to star as our favorite giant green rage monster. That doesn't mean he'd be doing the TV show, but one can hope, right?

Blogsy
By the way, this post is brought to you courtesy of Blogsy, an iPad app co-developed by some of my good peeps at Typepad to work with any blogware provider out there. The mobile version of Typepad was having issues on my iPad and the techs at Typepad suggested I give this a shot. This is only my first post, but I'm liking it so far. Still getting used to where things are, but it's nice to have a full WYSIWYG editor on a mobile device again. For months, I've been posting by writing everything in HTML and praying I didn't forget a carat or slash mark. So, yeah, so far it's very nice indeed.

Vow
Hawkeye Nerf BowA coworker of mine yesterday clued me into a Facebook posting of his featuring a Nerf bow and arrow set inspired by The Avengers character Hawkeye. It's all kinds of cool and I posted how I wanted to buy it for, not me, but our future kid. As she should, Katie ain't buying it. But I'm going to keep trying. In fact, anything I buy that seems even remotely outside my age range is being bought for the enjoyment of our forthcoming child. Yeah, that's the truth! You believe me, don't you?

Yeah, I didn't think you would.

Suggestions?
So do you have any links you'd like to provide for me to comment on in my next Snippet Wednesday? Let's give this a whirl and see how it goes.

Well, I'm outta here. Talk to you soon.

Hmmm - not sure about the weblink thing - I haven't even posted in ages!
There's nothing wrong with toys for everyone!
Baby kicks are awesome. What's freaky is when I wanted NOTHING more than junk food - Twinkies and Ho Hos and chocolate milk, etc, and then read that the baby was developing "sweet" taste buds. Then it truly felt like an alien in my body.

So if Katie has a C section, then Ridley Scott's Alien vision will be fulfilled.

Hmm, blogsy sounds interesting. Might have to give that a whirl from my wife's iPad. At some point. Because I'm not exactly a blogging machine these days ;-)

None of us are machines these days. Sad to say.
