Earlier today I saw a picture of myself that I hate. Absolutely loathe.
The shock of seeing it made me realize that I need to cut the crap from my diet. But it's never easy. Especially at this time of year.
I'm not going to make some BS goal like, "I need to lose such-and-such number of pounds." That never works and only depresses you into giving up on the whole thing when you miss that goal.
I'm going to take a phased approach.
Phase one: Adios candy. I love candy. It's easy to have around as a snack at home and work. And that needs to stop. NOW. And if I can get through Halloween without consuming any, I figure anything else is cake. Wait... you know what I mean. Not that I'm back on the candy wagon after Halloween. No sir. Just that Halloween will be the ultimate test.
