Macro Monday 2014.03...

Welcome to my first you-guess-it Macro Monday!

Basically, I will post a macro photo and let you all guess what it is. A few things to keep in mind...

  1. Feel free to respond anytime from now until the posting of next week's Macro Monday, which will contain the answer.
  2. I will not be responding to comments during the response period so I don't accidentally give anything away.
  3. Guess as often as you like. The first person to guess correctly wins. They really only win the knowledge that they won. No prizes this week.
  4. If you want to have a little more fun, don't read all the other comments left on this post unless you are truly stumped.

Here it is...

Commence guessing. Honestly, it's not that tough.

Is it a fork? Tongs of a fork?

Suzanne Kurtz Apgar

Dave2...keep your guesses to yourself!! I thought a fork as well, only they're called tines. A tong is a big pair of tweezers for food!!

I never said he had to keep guesses to himself. I did say that you shouldn't read other peoples' comments though.

Great image. I first thought it was the bottom of a glass... but now that I see Dave2's comment, I am going with the tines of a fork!!!

Kevin Spencer

Looks like a fork. I purposely didn't look at the other comments but I suspect we're all guessing the same.

kilax

It looks like the prongs of a diamond ring to me :)

Kazza the Blank One

A fork!

Marty Mankins

I'm going to guess fork... not because I read the other comments, but that's what it looks like to me.
