Tu(n)esday: 2014...
I always find it fun to look ahead into the coming year to see what new albums will be released. I love music and lawdy knows it's cool to see what may or may not be coming down the road.
Based on what's currently listed on Wikipedia, here's what I'm looking forward to hearing in order by release date:
- Bruce Springsteen - High Hopes (January 14)
- Broken Bells - After the Disco (February 4)
- TTT ("Crosses") - TTT (February 11)
- The Fray - Helios (February 25)
- Fuel - Puppet Strings (March 4)
- Johnny Cash - Out Among the Stars (March 25) - how many more albums can they find from him?
Shockingly, the list on Wikipedia is pitifully short. Having looked at lists prior to this year, they're usually much more expansive. Gah.
The ones listed below have no information beyond an announcement that the bands are expected to release albums in 2014. No album titles, no release dates, not even release months. So it's entirely possible several of these may not even happen.
- AC/DC
- Anthrax
- Blink-182
- The Cult
- Foo Fighters
- Garbage
- Iron Maiden
- Judas Priest
- Linkin Park
- The Presidents of the United States of America
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Tool
Did I miss anything?
St. Vincent and Beck!!!!
I am looking forward to those.

Ok... so many good ones you've listed. Broken Bells is the one I'm most excited for right away. Foo Fighters 8th album should be as epic as their previous 7. And it's been since 2006 for the last time we had a new Tool album. The rumors for that one are not even close to being solid. Just teases from Maynard and Justin.
