Yeah, so last week's Macro Monday photo was a bit obvious to, well, anyone.

I wish I had something substantial to say right now, bu I'm pretty caught up in the season four finale of The Walking Dead. I love the roller coaster of emotions this show presents.

I'm hoping to not be the only nostalgic fool here. Do any of you keep ticket stubs from events you attend? Be they concerts, movies, speeches and presentations, etc.?

A week from tomorrow will see the release of Captain America: Winter Soldier. This is the second movie in the Captain America film series and the ninth movie in the Marvel Avengers franchise. Please note that this count does not include Ang Lee and Eric Bana's The Hulk (2003). The Marvel Cinematic Universe includes only the Louis Leterrier-helmed and Edward Norton-starring The Incredible Hulk (2008) among its movies. That's a shame. I loved Bana as our favorite giant green rage machine.

I almost didn't write this Snippet Wednesday. You ever have post ideas ready to go but just no desire to write it up? That was me today. Alas, I'm far too wedded to this virtual space to not do it and it would be an awful waste of ideas. So enjoy!

I was attempting to keep in theme with the holiday last Monday -- St. Patrick's Day -- with Macro Monday. That's why I was asking you to be so specific.

This was a weekend of food highs and lows.

To keep pace with my goal of reading the next three A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) novels in 2014, I knew I'd have to read approximately 250 pages per month.

Admittedly, I was kinda surprised with how readily everyone got last week's Macro Monday challenge. Trying to imagine myself looking at it with no context or insider knowledge, I was actually having a little difficulty with it.

First off, a big ol' Happy Birthday to the World Wide Web! It's 25 years old. Well, in concept it's 25 years old. In actual execution, the Web didn't hit us all until really about 1993 or 1994. But still. On this day in 1989, Tim Berners-Lee came up with the idea of the World Wide Web and shared it with his boss who authorized him working on it as a side project from his regular job. Cool stuff!

Without it, you'd not be reading this Snippet Wednesday. And Lord only knows what I'd be doing as my career. And hobby.

There are few things more controversial in the music industry than cover songs. Some people love 'em, some people hate 'em. Some bands do the songs justice, others butcher them, some come out with intriguing interpretations of the songs that make fans think.

Most everybody got last week's Macro Monday challenge.

For a couple weeks, while the Olympic Winter Games were airing, we had practically no shows recording (or recorded, for that matter) on our DVR.

Is it strange that once I took the pressure off myself by not numbering my Snippet Wednesday posts, it has actually become easier -- at least so far -- to write them consistently? Heck, I've done a Snippet Wednesday every week save for the very first Wednesday of the year, which happened to be New Year's Day.

And here's another one for ya!

I love watching the twisted stream of consciousness that is my thought pattern as it unfolds and branches off into weird and wonderful new areas. Take this morning, for example.

Last week was another relatively easy one. I really don't think this one will be that much tougher. But still kinda fun. I hope.
