#ballsouttuesday...
My buddy Chad (@lingokid) and I started something new on Instagram. We're calling it #ballsouttuesday.
Before you start afloat down the mental gutter, it's all about Buckyballs! Those wonderfully tiny little neodymium magnets that people used to create magnificent sculptures before the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) shut them down and issued a recall. Obviously, not everyone heeded the recall and we can still play with them. So long as we don't get them near small children and stupid big people.
If you're on Instagram and own a set -- or two or ten -- of Buckyballs, join us! Create a unique sculpture and post it to Instagram with the hashtag #ballsouttuesday (as in "Balls Out Tuesday") and follow Chad and me (lingokid and kapgar, respectively). You can also use Buckybigs or Buckybars or, if you still want to participate and cannot find a set of official Buckyballs, use some knockoffs. No, the CPSC has not come down with the hammer of righteousness on competitors, just Bucky.
Here's what I've created under that hashtag...
Have some fun with it.
OH BALLS I don't have any to join in. But then it would be weird if I did since I'm a girl.
See what I did there?

You should participate. I think you'd have fun even if you need to use knockoff balls. Heh heh... "Knockoff balls."

I stocked up on them before they banned them here. Ended up with about four blocks of them.
