Goofed...

Several years ago, when Katie and I announced we were going on vacation to Disney World, Marie asked if I would take a picture of Stormin' Norman taking out Goofy.

I found out quickly that she hates Goofy.

I never quite understood why. He always struck me as just a loveable, but misunderstood, doofus. However, I heeded the request all the same. I gave her this...

Nathan is now an avid watcher of Disney Junior's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse of which Goofy is a main character. And I now get it. Ohhhhh, I soooo get it. Goofy is so pineconin' annoying! I just want to smack him every time he talks. His voice grates on me like nails on a chalkboard. And his constant mispronunciation of "Mouseketool"... HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO SAY THAT WORD????

I apologize to you, Marie. I thought you were crazy when, in fact, you were the epitome of insight. Forgive me?

Norman took him out like a stormtroopin' boss.

I've not had the annoying experience with Goofy. Pluto is my favorite of all the main Disney characters.

HE'S AWFUL. I figured this out as a child. Also I was confused as to WHY he had to be in so many Mickey Mouse cartoons. BE GONE GOOFY.
