Microblog Monday...
I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could give proper credit. Alas I cannot.
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I'm pretty regular about posting. When I first started, I went a solid year and a half without missing a day. Sure, I'm not that consistent these days, but I'm still well above 50% posting throughout the year. And now I've gone a full month with daily posts.
But it's not always that easy for all my fellow bloggers to produce content that regularly. Heck, it's not even that easy for me.
However, I'd like to extend a challenge to all you who may be suffering a bit of Blogger's Block of late. I recently found a link to a post on Stirrup-Queens.com, in which the author challenges people to, each Monday, take one thing they would otherwise say on social media -- be it Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Tumblr, whatever -- and, instead of posting it there, put it on your blog. If it was to be a Tweet, perhaps you flesh it out a bit. But it should not exceed about a paragraph or eight sentences or something along those lines.
It's that simple. it can also work for someone considering blogging who hasn't pulled the trigger just yet. When you've posted it, include the graphic from Stirrup Queens and then link to it in her comments. Let me know as well.
I'm looking forward to reading what you write!
Challenge taken! Well actually you already know that I've been trying to blog more often. :)

You've been doing great. Watch out, though, or I may challenge you to NaBloPoMo.

I know many of us take things that we post on Twitter and turn it into a blog post. I need to get back to doing that, but trying out this posting on the blog instead of tweeting it. Perhaps something that needs to expand past 140 characters.

Give it a shot. Especially with NaBloPoMo coming up.
