Dance...

I DID IT! I DID IT! I finished what is currently George R.R. Martin's last book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Dance With Dragons, thus completing my reading goal for this year!

Was it ever amazing! While I was slightly underwhelmed by the previous book, A Feast For Crows, this one left me chomping at the bit for more and got me really emotionally invested. Let's just say I have now officially joined the pack of ravenous fans (I call us "Ice-holes") awaiting book six... whenever that may be coming out.

If you've ever read these books or watched the show or plan to do either or both, when people tell you to not get too attached to a character, believe it. Especially in this book. Woah.

I've no interest in either the books or TV show. I think it's the hype.

Glad you've finished it! Yeah, Dance With Dragons was a welcome return after book four. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book. Although by then I'll have probably forgotten a lot of the details from book five and have to read it again. Which is no easy task considering its size.

No real spoilers here, but let me say that if a certain someone doesn't appear in book six due to the cliffhanger in this book, I'm probably going to through the book through the window and go looking for George RR Martin.

That cliffhanger blew my mind. It better not be so.
