Well, until I have to write my December 1 post anyway.

I'm getting excited.

'tis the day after Thanksgiving and all through the house, not a single person gave a damn about Black Friday, not even a mouse.

This happened yesterday...

In preparation for the Foo Fighters-Urge Overkill-Cheap Trick-Naked Raygun quadruple bill next August (I'm ahead of the game here), I thought I'd start to give a listen to Naked Raygun as they are the only band on the lineup with which I have zero familiarity.

Last week's Macro Monday yielded some interesting, and very nearly correct, guesses. None that were 100% correct, but very close.

So this happened today...

A week ago, I had my mind completely made up against using Wordpress. I even have a blog post saved in my draft folder justifying my decision.

2014 is rapidly coming to a close. This means my Macro Monday challenge will also soon be done. 

Katie has been an iPhone user for two years longer than I. She jumped on board with the iPhone 3G back in 2008 when she became highly disillusioned with the other phone options available through AT&T.

As predicted, parents were all over last week's Macro Monday challenge photo.

Professional photo studio visits are pretty hit or miss with Nathan.

Katie and I have been unabashed lovers of Disney/Pixar films for 20 years now. We're such fans that we've made it a point to see almost all of them in theaters. Given the cost of theatergoing these days, that's saying something.

I may have been a bit heated when I tweeted this last night, but, if you are a fan of the Chicago Bears, you cannot tell me that it's not deserved given how they're playing this season.

Yesterday afternoon, I returned from one of my lunch break walks and was down in the locker room changing when a friend of mine came up to me.

Nathan does not like to have either Katie or I on the other side of a closed door to which he is not meant to have access. So he has no qualms about entering a closed-off room if it means finding one of us.

Oh, this is a good day, indeed! The new Foo Fighters album Sonic Highways is officially out. Although I have it loaded on my iPhone, I've only had an opportunity to listen to the first couple tracks. I'll give it a proper listen (or four) tomorrow.

As it turns out, the color altering I thought would keep last week's Macro Monday from being too easy made it entirely too difficult. No one got it. Understandably, I suppose. There were some uniquely cool guesses, though.

I have railed about vehicle stickers in the past as well as stick figure families a couple of times. So you should be used to this.

A few years back, I was part of a local library foundation whose goal was to fundraise the money necessary to allow our library to buy out another building to move into greatly expanding their available square footage.

Funny how things get all coincidental on you, isn't it?

Wow! It is such a fantastic time to be a fan of Cleveland sports! The Indians make the postseason by winning a one-game playoff against the dreaded New York Yankees and, due to their inspired play and sudden surge in fans, they aren't going to move to Florida as originally thought! And then the Browns pull some clever moves in the NFL Draft and screw over the Seattle Seahawks by nabbing not only a number one pick in Vontae Mack but also a number seven in RB Ray Jennings! If only I could be in Cleveland to help them celebrate what is sure to be the start of a dynasty in two sports!

I'm curious to see if I can circle this one back around. Bear with me, will ya?

Last week's Macro Monday challenge photo was an easy one. Lots of people got it. LOTS. I'm not even going to try to list them all. I expect an equal number of correct answers this go round as well.

I know that Apple warns you about the devices that can and cannot take iOS updates. I only wish there was a way to know truly what it would do to your device.
