Story Sunday 2015.13...
"Honey, I need to tell you something and I want you to listen to me carefully.
"You're going to be on your own very soon and you're going to have to take care of yourself. It won't be easy and people will try to get in your way and stop you and they may even try to take what's yours. Don't you dare let them. What's yours is yours and it belongs to no one else. If you don't want them to take it, you don't let them. Even if it means you have to kick and scream and bite and scratch them to protect it.
"And if you ever need me for anything, I will always be there. Do you understand?"
"Daddy?"
"Yes, dear?"
"Are we still talking about Easter eggs?"
"Sir? You can't help your daughter pick up eggs. She's old enough to do it herself."
Cute!!
