Observations...

First, a big Happy Mother's Day to Katie, my mom, my grandma, my mother-in-law, and both my sisters-in-law. You all deserve a day 364 days a year.

Second, Story Sunday really sucks. This is my second week in a row without a story on the intended day. The only difference from last week to this is that I have a photo, but no idea what to write. Last week, I had neither. Small improvement.

Third, Nathan is getting freaky good with YouTube. He is very capable of browsing until he finds Thomas & Friends videos and will watch for hours. And not just episodes. He finds fan tributes and other related videos. He loves watching this one video where a guy just shows off his collection of Thomas trains and names them. Nathan recites he names along with him. If this dude's videos go viral, he owes Nathan a big chunk toward his college fund.

Fourth, while CBS has yet to announce their cancellations, of the four networks who have, we only have a whopping 3.5 hours of current TV shows returning next season. I really expected it to only be 2.5, but ABC pulled the surprising, yet welcome, move of renewing Marvel's Agent Carter. We expect that number to increase another five hours once CBS makes their announcement, although fewer would be welcome.

Fifth, I'm tired. I'm going to bed. Hasta la pasta.

It took me a while to get around to finishing the first season but, when I did, I wanted more.
