Enough...

Have you ever had that one post that you've envisioned and re-envisioned? Written and rewritten? Edited and re-edited? Over and over again and you still can't pull the trigger and publish it?

I have one of those right now. It's a very tricky subject. Incredibly polarizing but its importance and need to be expressed outweighs that polarization.

And, yet, I still can't click "publish."

At what point do you just say, "Enough is enough" and either do it or can it entirely?

Oh yes, definitely had those posts. I try my best to do a pros/cons list in my head and then ask myself: would I also be ok sharing this with a large group of strangers I don't know and have never met? If the answer is no, then I don't publish. If yes, I hit the publish button.

Yes, I have. For me, the "don't click yet" for blog posts has several that have been in draft mode for a while. Either waiting till I get some burst of brilliance that completes the post to my liking or ones that I get ideas on and then make that call on if it's worth posting. I would like to get to the point where I feel like I can post something without wondering if I missed something or I feel like I have to wait.

I wonder if that point will ever happen.
