I gotta hand it to Walt Disney. They have recently taken steps to ban the sales of toy weapons from all their theme parks. I'm impressed.

At some point either this weekend or early next week, Katie and I plan to see some movies.

I hate Black Friday and Cyber Monday and all those other "special" post-Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas sales periods that exist in this day and age. They drive me crazy.

Before I go on my self-imposed Star Wars Web Media Blackout (TM pending), I'd like to posit my one and only theory regarding the new film.

I am in utter shock and disbelief that this is Release Week! As in "THIS IS THE WEEK THAT STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS IS RELEASED!!!"

Katie's aunts and uncles like to send scratch-off lottery tickets as birthday gifts for family members. It's a cool way to give gifts.

In the midst of all the fervor for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, coming out on December 18, dropped news that Disney is now plotting out a Han Solo prequel movie.
