All of the people in Katie's family that have died. My college friend who died. All the continual infections that Katie has had and her deviated septum diagnosis. All the celebrities that have died including Bowie, Lemmy, Alan, Chyna, Milt, Doris, Merle, Garry, Maurice, George, Harper, and Glenn.

And now Prince.

I have been a Prince fan even longer than I was a fan of Bowie. I got my first Prince album, 1999, back in 1985 when my parents bought it for me from a music club.

I remained a fan for many years and through many of his personal and professional re-inventions.

I need to play "When Doves Cry."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, 2016 can suck it.

Many times, I like to check stuff out on eBay and follow it to see at what price some things sell. I don't know why I do it since, in most cases, I would never consider buying the items anyway....

Finding out that Prince had died a week ago Thursday was a shock. I was a pretty big fan and this was a loss for me on many levels. I expected him to live into his 80's. Alas, it was not to be. We've lost way too many musicians this year and we are barely 4 months into 2016.
