Have you been watching Designated Survivor? Katie and I are loving it.

iOS 10 is upon us, eh? Oy. Seems like only yesterday I had to remove about 2 GB of stuff from my phone to make room for the iOS 9 update. And if I don't get this done soon, Apple will pester me hourly until I do.

This was easily my favorite social media exchange in a while. Sadly, it was on the Facebooger. Oh well. 

I like to go through a cemetery near where I work when on my lunchtime walk. Why? Cemeteries are beautiful. Peaceful. Empty (of the living).

I said to be specific with last week's challenge photo and you were. Several people got this pretty easily. 

I think Nathan, much like his daddy, is going to be a total Halloween freak.

I'm going to be honest with you and admit that I'm not much of a Stephen Colbert fan. I never was. I don't dislike him, I just never went out of my way to watch him either on The Colbert Report or on The Late Show. 

This Throwback Thursday is quite appropriate given Nathan's birthday on Monday.

It was a great day today. A train ride downtown. A walk to Shedd Aquarium. A visit to Buckingham Fountain. Cake and presents when we got home.

This is a time of year I both love and loathe. Love because we get to see a bunch of new network shows premiere. Loathe because we get to see a bunch of new network shows premiere.

I make good decisions, that's what I've been told. I will not be fearful, I'll be brave and bold.

I went for a run yesterday for the first time since my 5K in February. Well, I should qualify that claim a bit. I went for a walk that had three spontaneous run-like outbursts scattered throughout.

I just saw a commercial for Mucinex featuring Kristi Yamaguchi. The bottom-third listed her as an "Olympian, mom & healthy living advocate."

Considering the increasing rate by which my blogroll is becoming decimated by bloggers who have either quit or otherwise abandoned their writing, I decided I needed to do something with the page here where I list them all.

I remember being a kid and thinking that most medicine tasted like crap. Didn't matter what flavoring was mixed in, it always tasted bad.

Today was the annual big-deal September Apple Event and I was able to, for the first time ever, tune into the streaming video.

Sure, summer is still in place seasonally until September 20, but this past Monday, aside from just being Labor Day, also serves as the end of "summer" in terms of many recurring activities and events.

No one got the challenge photo last week. That makes me both happy and sad. I didn't think it was that terribly difficult but apparently I got just the right angle, eh?

So the Chicago Bears have, in the past couple of seasons, unloaded Brandon Marshall, Charles "Peanut" Tillman (who has since retired), Matt Forte, and now Robbie Gould.

One of the things Katie and I have come to fear with Nathan is some sort of a learning environment.

I'm going to tear through this as quick as I can as we're heading into the holiday weekend and I'd like to actually be caught up on my posts. Something that is happening with less frequency of late. I catch up and fall behind. Oy, daily posting.
