I don't understand something. Studio photography back in the day at places like the venerated Olan Mills was expensive but not outrageous. And there were some high cost items and processes involved in the, er, process.

Sorry, no, this is not a Throwback Thursday of something of my own. It's a throwback that is tied in very tightly with a bit of entertainment news that was released today. The news being that Ron Howard has been hired to take over for fired co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller of the as-yet-untitled Star Wars anthology film about a young Han Solo and Chewbacca.

I gotta admit, the more I learn about CBS's Star Trek Discovery, the more I'm looking forward to it.

Anybody want to do a podcast with me? The topic is very much up for discussion. Or we could just do one on random stuff (although that does make it much harder to market and gain sponsors and whatnot).

The last two weeks of Macro Monday have been disappointing in terms of guesses. Are they too difficult? I'm hoping not.

Do you amass digital copies of movies like Katie and I do? On the semi-rare occasion that we actually buy movies to keep, we actively seek out combo packs that come with, at the very least, Blu-ray and digital versions of the film. Even better is when it has a DVD copy. Not that we ever use the DVD copy if we have Blu-ray. I mean, why would you?

With no TV shows recording at the moment, things have been kinda slow with viewing. It's funny that my complaining about TV has gone a full 180 from when I did nothing but whine about wanting more time back.
