Have I ever told you about my Darth Maul'd Mickey Mouse figure? No?
There's nothing worse than when you're binge watching a show and you fall asleep and it keeps playing.
I really need to find this coffee shop (clearly a Starbucks)...
Macro Monday #26 for the year? That means we're halfway through this year of tiny little photos of things. Wow. Already?
Do you have any idea how much self control it took on my part to not pocket this bottle of hot sauce from a nearby Taco Fresco yesterday?
I realized something the other day... I never see people rollerblading anymore. Has it died as an activity?
I know I'm a few years late to the game on this but I'm finally playing around with IFTTT.
Sorry, no, this is not a Throwback Thursday of something of my own. It's a throwback that is tied in very tightly with a bit of entertainment news that was released today. The news being that Ron Howard has been hired to take over for fired co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller of the as-yet-untitled Star Wars anthology film about a young Han Solo and Chewbacca.
I gotta admit, the more I learn about CBS's Star Trek Discovery, the more I'm looking forward to it.
Anybody want to do a podcast with me? The topic is very much up for discussion. Or we could just do one on random stuff (although that does make it much harder to market and gain sponsors and whatnot).
The last two weeks of Macro Monday have been disappointing in terms of guesses. Are they too difficult? I'm hoping not.
Happy Father's Day to my dad, my grandpa, my brother, and my father-in-law. I love you all and am eternally grateful for everything you have ever done and continue to do for us.
Take it from wise ol' Uncle Kappy, kids... when you want to get back into reading, the worst thing approach you can take is to try to read four books all at the same time.
I really don't think there's any better way to commemorate the life of Adam West than the way the City of Los Angeles chose to do.
As stated on Instagram, if ever there was question as to where my Marvel vs. D.C. loyalty would lie, it was answered very early on in my life.
Nathan is asleep and Katie is at the movies with the SiL so I decided to fire up an old favorite... Tombstone. To this day, my favorite western and one of the greatest action films ever. Kurt Russell is a stud.
Yes, a second trip into Chicago in as many weeks. Why? 200 PTO hours accrued at work, that's why. But why would you complain? You get photos of sweet cityscapes!!
I actually only had two people submit guesses last week. Two!! Marty was closest with a stab at an NHL logo. It was, in fact...
This has been the official default license plate for Illinois residents for about a decade or more.
I don't know if anyone has broached this subject yet, but I need to know... is Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the Benjamin Button of a galaxy far, far away?
Could #YonduOnTerra be my next #StorminNorman?
Do you amass digital copies of movies like Katie and I do? On the semi-rare occasion that we actually buy movies to keep, we actively seek out combo packs that come with, at the very least, Blu-ray and digital versions of the film. Even better is when it has a DVD copy. Not that we ever use the DVD copy if we have Blu-ray. I mean, why would you?
With no TV shows recording at the moment, things have been kinda slow with viewing. It's funny that my complaining about TV has gone a full 180 from when I did nothing but whine about wanting more time back.
You know those Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube Man things in front of car dealerships and new stores when they open? These...
Last week's Macro Monday challenge photo was waaaayyyyy too easy. I don't think anyone missed it.
After a couple weeks of nothing but LEGO movies including the feature film as well as Batman and Scooby Doo variants, we felt it was time for a detox.
News from two of my favorite podcasts within about a day of each other announcing their returns for season two in the coming weeks/months? Oh it's a good thing, indeed!
And when you're in Chicago all day walking everywhere, you wind up doing this...
I was checking out Facebook when I came across this gem from 2011 that was created by the splendid LeSombre. It's his homage to Reservoir Dogs featuring all his geeky friends. I was honored to be counted amongst them.
