Way. Too. Easy. 

It's been 11.5 years, but I finally decided to try selling items on eBay again. Actually, I should qualify that statement... I decided to try selling physical items on eBay again. A couple years ago, I sold some digital trading cards. Well, one... one digital trading card because no one wanted the other few.

Today, we attended a grandkids pool party at my parents' neighborhood. My parents head up the grandparents planning committee and they love planning these events all the time and the kids love going. 

We just got back from our vacation (more on that later) and we wanted to take our rental car back to Hertz. We technically have the car until tomorrow so we'd be returning it right on time.

Here's a throwback to a time oh-so-long ago. That time we woke up and looked out our hotel balcony at East Bay of Traverse City, Michigan.

I'm sorry. I really wish I had a little more time to hash out all my feelings about the suicide of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington in more detail than the bullet I wrote up on Friday, but I cannot.

I guess I should've figured that one of the most awesomest snack foods EVAR would wind up a gimme for Macro Monday. It was.

It's not as though I watch a lot of movies these days but I do tend to be pretty "in the know," as it were, about the industry. So it's a sad day, personally, when a new movie completely evades my film radar. 

There's nothing that quite compares to having to clean a sport bottle from your kiddo...

I forgot all about these Choose Your Own Adventure books I found at my parents' old house about a decade ago.

It's official! For the first time since the summer of 2014, we are going on holiday... er, vacation! Sorry, Nathan watches a lot of British cartoons like Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom and Hey Duggee, so he calls it "holiday." 

In grad school, I took a music video appreciation class. In it, I was introduced to the electronic/synthesizer stylings of Richard D. James, AKA Aphex Twin.

Yup, it was a pretty easy week on the Macro Monday front.

Ever since Marty started reviewing Oreo cookies and other snack foods, I've been chomping (pun fully intended) at the bit to find Limited Edition flavors that he hasn't already reviewed on his site. I think I found another!

It has been two years since I watched The Walking Dead and nearly three since I read any of the comics. As much as I used to love the series, I fell out of love.

Tonight marks the release of War for the Planet of the Apes, a movie I'm looking very forward to seeing. I love the PotA movies. Every one I've seen. Well, except that disastrous Mark Wahlberg piece of trash that marked my decline in appreciation for Director Tim Burton. 

This is our home phone. It's one of a pair of phones we have at home connected to the home phone number Katie and I have had since 2001.

How telling is it of my place in the annals of geekdom that when I see this headline...

Okay, okay. Five correct guesses on Facebook, three on Instagram, and one on Twitter. I get it! I get it! This Macro Monday was too easy.

It's been all over entertainment websites and social media so there's no reason for me to go into details, but I just want to take a moment to say that it truly sucks that Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park are leaving Hawaii Five-0. Truly. Sucks.

I wear contact lenses. Therefore, when we go to the pool, I have goggles on my eyes at all times. They keep splashing water from wiping the lens off my eyeball and they're UV protected to keep me from squinting in the reflected sunlight. I love them.

I had an interesting dream last night. It starred the characters from Scooby-Doo. Yeah, Nathan's loves are invading my dream state. Once they become LEGO versions of themselves, I know I'm in trouble.

I'm trying to make heads or tails of this recently discovered photo that a so-called expert claims proves that Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan survived their Pacific Ocean crash. 

I feel I owe you all a bit of an apology as I feel many of my posts of late have been, well, garbage. More often than not, I find myself deciding on a topic at the very last second and just writing up the minimum I can in a short amount of time just to get something written.

Happy 241st birthday, U.S.A.!

Yes, a relatively simple Macro Monday was had last week.
