Funko recently announced a line of their POP! vinyl figures for the original Jurassic Park movie. admittedly they’re cool and, despite the fact it’s been half a year since I bought a toy, I’d really like to get a dilophosaurus.

I’m not usually one to care about aging. It’s simply a number. True aging is mental and/or physical. Either your psyche goes Old Yeller or your body does. If you can make both skew younger, you’re set, right?

This is really getting frustrating. Our iHome plugs now refuse to work with Wink or Echo or lord only knows what else. 

For any of you all who have higher degrees of home automation than I — let’s be honest, that could be anyone — what do you do when your home network goes down?

As I recall, last year, I received an email of listening stats from both Spotify and Last.fm. As neither have arrived yet and we’re almost done with January, I sought out my own stats via the Last.fm website. 

I was corrected just now that the Macro Monday I thought was fluorite is actually moldy cheese. I wondered what that smell was. Oy!

30 years ago today.

Damn, I’m old.

Lots of foodie and dessert guesses on last week’s Macro Monday and only  one “chocolate chip cookie” from last week’s winner, Jordan. Sorry but I gotta stand firm on this one. Only the cookie gets it.

For the second year in a row, Katie and I went with my brother and his wife to see a Professional Bull Riders (PBR) event here in Chicago. I really can’t explain why but I love it. It’s a ton of fun. 

Katie came up with this grand idea for a restoration that involves an old door. To what end? We cannot yet say. But we do have a door and have started the work. 

A coworker brought up an interesting point to me the other day... Indiana Jones is a completely pointless character to the overall action of the Nazis and Nazi sympathizers in The Raiders of the Lost Ark. 

Last weekend, Katie and I stopped at both Sam’s Club and Costco to pick up some needs. On the way home, I asked her which club we should continue with when our memberships come due.

You’ve all seen those little one minute or less recipe videos on Facebook, haven’t you? I’ve seen a ton. I’ve saved a bunch of them in anticipation of trying to make them myself.
