TBT: Sanibel...
Video: Art...

Goals: May...

Not only is today a goal check-in, but it's also Nathan's final day of preschool... ever. Seriously! Where did the year go? Where did the last five years go?? We now have a kindergartener. To quote Dr. Sam Beckett, "ho boy."

I'm going to stop depressing myself and move on to my goal recap. Cool with you? Cool.

1. Blog Play: Zilch. As 45 would say, "SAD!"

2. Video Play: I owed you all two videos to make up for April and I delivered!

Plus, to boot, I'm almost done with my June video. I just need to decide on some music for it. That will get posted soon. This new editor I'm using, Splice, is ridiculously easy and has a lot more options than iMovie. And it's still iPhone based. Woo!

3. Music Play: I have found my new favorite voice so far this year and her name is Alice Merton! She released a five-track EP titled No Roots of which I'm sure you're familiar with the title track. Well, all the songs are amazing and I highly suggest checking it out! Actually, I'll save you the trouble of finding it on your own. I have the whole EP embedded below the album art, courtesy of YouTube.

4. Camera Play: Macro Monday is still going.

5. Book Play: I finished another three books this month and am 2/3 of the way to my 2018 reading goal in under half a year. Should kill it sometime this summer.

Here’s what I read in May:

Here’s what I’m currently reading:

6. Comic Play: Graphic novels are the only thing I finished reading this month. My initial goal was to read the 11 graphic novels I listed. While some of those titles have changed, I have finished 11 total. So this goal has been kicked squarely in the rear. Let’s see how many more I can add!

7. Update Play: You’re reading it!

Hasta el Julio!
