Have you ever heard of BuiltWith.com? It's a pretty cool site where you can enter a URL of a website and find out what kinds of technology the site uses to make it run.

I discovered it because we use it at work for research purposes.

The other day, I decided to try it on my own website, just for kicks. Man! The list of technology it returned in the Technology Profile was pretty incredible. Then the Detailed Technology Profile where it shows past technology whose footprint still exists on my site as well as giving implementation and deprecation dates? Dang, I was hooked. Look how much has been added and removed of late.
