Back in grad school, I was pretty big into documentary films. Heck, I even worked on the crew of one.
But as the years went on after graduation, I kinda fell out of love. They just became so predominant that the quality went down and I just ceased caring.
However, with my second-screen tendencies of late, I’ve started watching some. Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us and CNN’s The 90s. They’re great because I don’t really have to pay that close of attention (don’t tell the filmmakers I said that).
Anyway, a coworker Slacked me this gem of a YouTube doc. Apparently it’s a long-lost making of The Empire Strikes Back. And it’s way cool. I hope you have an hour to spare.
