Taped 04...

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite recurring segments here at Taped — Where we uncover old (and, sometimes new) analog cassettes I’ve acquired.

I got these a few weeks ago at a resale shop where I had trade-in credit. Check them out!

From left to right, top to bottom: Henry Rollins - Think Tank (2 tape set), Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Pack Up the Plantation Live, Lillian Axe - Poetic Justice, Warrant - Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, and INXS - The Swing.

So far, I’ve listened to Rollins, Petty, and Axe. The Rollins is practically brand new, it’s in that great a shape. Petty has a couple bad audio stretches due to age, but sounds better than bootleg tapes by a long shot. Axe is a little muffled but still good.

I can’t wait to hear both INXS and Warrant. Two of my all-time favorites.

And coming soon, a few Taped posts based on these boxes of tapes my buddy Eric gave me.

The Swing is a great album. All the early INXS albums are fantastic actually.

I concur!
