Neighborly...

Ohmigod, it only took three years of her living here, but the neighbor in our end unit finally spoke to us as we were putting up our Christmas lights.

Please note, we’ve waved to her on many occasions. Said hi. Nathan yelled “hi” many times... nothing. Not a peep or even a mere acknowledgment that she heard us.

Today, though, she came over to ask if we were missing our newspaper because she had an extra. Then she introduced herself. We know her name!!

Such a watershed day here in da Hood.

Speaking of being anti-social, it has now been six months since I ditched several of my social media accounts. I’m here to tell you that it is, indeed, possible to live without Facebook, Messenger, Snapchat, Swarm, Vero, LinkedIn, and so many more.

Oh god. Proving I'm not hip with the kids, don't know what Messenger or Vero are?

Vero was a social media network launched about the beginning of this year. Nothing special enough to make me want to keep using it, like Ello. Messenger was the direct message arm of Facebook. They pushed it into a second app, which annoyed me to pieces.
