Talk about waiting until the 11th hour to get my one and only video done. I wrapped this last night at about 10 p.m.

Remember how I said that this week would be a return to normalcy regarding work and my schedule?

I fell down the rabbit hole known as Google Maps... again. Gawd, I need to stop doing that.

Again, y’all have impressed me with your album recognition skills. Three weeks strong and every single one has been guessed by multiple people. Nicely done!

As in "Work From Home," something I am able and allowed to do via my employer but that I only do once a week due to necessity.

As you've probably figured out by now, given all my year-end lists and my newer Rankings lists, I like to rate things. It's fun. I dig it. I hope you like reading them as much as I like writing them.

While Katie is away on a girls’ weekend, Nathan and I will have an at-home boys’ weekend. Well, mostly at-home anyway. 

A while back, I mentioned an issue with a missing piece from our San Francisco puzzle. When I was at a point where I figured there was no hope of finding it, I started researching options for getting the piece replaced.

Back when it was first announced that the CW was going to create a show all about the classic Archie comics gang, I was totally on board. Then they started announcing casting decisions and I was getting really excited.

A handful of people got last week’s #MiniMusicMonday. I knew some people would. Thankfully one of those people did not let me down. My old college roommate, Mike, was all over it. 

When you're a kid, you can never seemingly get enough days off school. You looked forward to every weekend, counted the days between irregular holidays, and prayed for snow during the winter.

Sure, we may prefer jeans or sweats or pajamas or whatever else, but, when necessary, Katie and I clean up nicely. In this case, for our neighbors’ wedding.

We now have two Roku SEs hooked up in our house and tied into Hulu, Netflix, MoviesAnywhere, Disney Now, And a couple other services that we’re trying out and you wanna know what we have not used (much) in weeks? 

Tonight, I’m throwing back five years to a family party at the house of one of Katie’s aunts and uncles. At this party, Nathan and his cousin Ava decided to take a turn at the piano. 

Welcome to my must-see list of movies for 2019! Okay, "must-see" might be a bit overreaching. "Wanna-See"? Oh, and this isn't for all of 2019; just the first half of it. I'll do a list for the second half a little later on once IMDb populates their release list and makes more trailers available. So let's call this Kapgar's Wanna-See Movie List for the First Half of 2019. Oy, that's clunky. Oh well.

Occasionally, I get the odd look from people wondering why I’ve gotten back into cassettes in the age of streaming. Most of the time, I’m snarky and just reply “because” or “why not.” 

Clearly, last week’s #minimusicmonday was way easy. More than a dozen of you guessed that it was Michael Jackson’s classic album Bad.

It’s kinda all over Instagram today... people comparing photos of themselves from today with photos from 10 years ago, presumably as close to the day as possible. 

Sorry, folks. I’d love to take a moment to give you some big, great blog post but I’m too busy defending my house from an oncoming hoard of zombies...

Yesterday, a coworker scheduled a 9 a.m. meeting. For many, that’s no big deal, but our workday starts at 8:30 and she’s offset by an hour living in the Mountain time zone like she does. So I was joking that we might not be able to make that happen. 

On Tuesday night, I went with coworkers to see The Life Aquatic with Arthur Curry... er... Aquaman. Being such a big deal release and one that I was pretty interested in seeing and that it was so highly hyped that it received a sequel approval before it was even released, I feel like it warrants a post review.

While clearing through our bookshelf, I discovered I had two books there that have been on my shelf, unread, for two decades. 

Today, I'm dedicating my Taped entry to a single cassette I just recently nabbed. It is Vol 1 by the Traveling Wilburys. 

A fourth consecutive year of Macro Monday? What is wrong with me??? Oy. 

Katie and I (unofficially) resolved to build more puzzles this years. “More”? How many more? Considering we haven’t done a puzzle since either before Nathan was born or, maybe, his first year of life when he wasn’t mobile and couldn’t steal a piece and eat it, anything is “more.”

I’ve said it before, but I have never identified as Democrat or Republican. I staunchly refused to do so as I have views that straddle that proverbial fence. Instead, I vote for the candidates. 

A funny thing happened while perusing Netflix yesterday. I found Avengers: Infinity War and watched it. This was my second viewing of the film after being vastly underwhelmed by it when it was in theaters in May.

Have you ever been reading a book and, after however many pages, you asked yourself why you were wasting the time reading it?

This was my view earlier this morning.
