Packaging...
A while back, I mentioned an issue with a missing piece from our San Francisco puzzle. When I was at a point where I figured there was no hope of finding it, I started researching options for getting the piece replaced.
After digging around a bit, I found the third in a line of companies that acquired the company that made our puzzle. I contacted them and they told me that they do not replace individual pieces as that would be too difficult; they just send out new copies of the puzzle. They got my details and said they'd send it out.
I subsequently forgot about it. Then we found the piece and finished the puzzle. Then I got an email saying it had shipped out. Whoops!
Today, the puzzle arrived.
First of all, it was decidedly not the same puzzle.
Our puzzle...
What they sent us...
This is actually okay since we finished the other one. We need a new puzzle to work on.
But what is not okay is how it came to us...
Big enough box? Just the top one (there are two in that photo).
If there's one good thing to come of this, Nathan and I have a box to build his “killer robot guard statue” this weekend.
