Yesterday, for the first time, I tried avocado toast. The preferred meal of homeless millennials everywhere.

The Oscars are happening as I type this. We’re recording them to replay later after Nathan’s asleep so don’t ruin anything for me. 

This sounds so horrifying, but I couldn’t stop laughing. And I feel as though something like this could so easily happen to me.

Last night, we had a late site deployment at work. I could’ve worked from home but everyone else was sticking around the office so I did, too. 

With all the Trump hate going around — the lowest ratings ever and whatnot — all the Democrats should have to do is get behind their horse and ride it to an easy victory.

The handful of people who got last week's #MiniMusicMonday challenge photo warm my heart. Why? Because it's one of my all-time favorite records! The first with the full correct answer, I believe, was my buddy, Eric.

It’s kinda funny. For the last two decades, I’ve grown accustomed to always fast forwarding through commercials on shows that we watch. First because we recorded them on VHS; then because of the beauty of DVRs.

Do any of you moviegoing folks buy in when theaters offer the reusable popcorn buckets and soda cups that offer a refill at a discounted price?

I gotta tell you that watching all these Predator and Alien films has been so much fun! Even the bad ones. I wouldn't trade the experience of pseudo-binging these movies for, well, much of anything else. I don't want to go so far as to say "anything." That just sounds bad.

We went to see The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part today. First off, the movie is fantastic! I liked it so much more than its predecessor. Great new characters. Great story. Great visuals. Yadda yadda. 

I know I have a lot of friends and coworkers who would love to see American measurements and weights go bye-bye in favor of the Metric system. 

Today, I presented an instructional video I made to a Leadership Seminar held internally in my company. 

Seven years ago, I was in line for my pretzel bagel and coffee at an Einstein’s Bagels when I saw a guy playing a banjo at another table. 

With golden parachutes, executive overpay, line-level employee overwork, customer screwovers, small business squelching, and so much more, I already harbor enough disgust for corporate America. Then I watch a movie featuring an evil corporation and it all comes bubbling up again.

Another small haul for the books, er, blog. I’m pretty happy with this especially since I got them not only discounted per tape but B2G1 (buy two, get one) from Purple Dog Records in Naperville, IL. 

I'm going to admit something... I would not have gotten last week's #MiniMusicMonday challenge photo six months ago. I just didn't have the familiarity with the album art. However, I now own it and know it. 

What a boring AF Super Bowl game. 

When Nathan spent the night at my parents’ house the other weekend, they introduced him to a really simple dice game called Tenzi.
