Have you seen the National Geographic documentary Free Solo about Alex Honnold's free solo climb up El Capitan?
Oh. My. God.
This is one of the most insane and intense films I've seen. No not just "most insane and intense" documentaries. But straight-up films. No level of CGI can compare to this. My gut was churning watching a guy I do not know and will likely never meet do something I otherwise think should forever be impossible.
I don't want to say much about this film because I want you to go experience it for yourself. It's on Netflix and maybe some other places as well.
When this was out in theaters, it was available in IMAX. I think I would've lost my lunch watching it in IMAX.
