Kevism: Optional...

It drives me crazy when an organization (that will go unnamed) asks for an "optional" donation as part of a registration process, but, in order to do literally anything within that org, you have to give them exactly the amount they request as optional. It's clearly "mandatory," so call it a "fee" already. Don't insult my intelligence. Or my bank account.

Heh. Speaking of donating, I was in Walgreens today and they kinda make you feel bad with their "would you like to donate today to literally save children's lives" and then you cheerily go "oh no thanks" like you hate children or something. Guy next to me must have also felt bad as he was explaining it like "oh I already donated earlier".
