Kevism: Blogging...

May Goals...

I really didn’t want to do this recap already. Feels like it may be frighteningly lackluster. Hold tight!

1. Blog Play: Still nothing.

2. Video Play: I had fun with this month’s video attaching my GoPro to my r/c truck.

3. Music Play: This month’s bands are bands I’ve known of for some time, one for about 25 years, in fact. But I’ve just never really listened to either in earnest. Only what was on the radio or on soundtracks I liked.

First up is The Interrupters, which I first heard a little bit ago on the radio. Great ska-punk sound to them akin to the Turnspit album I discovered last year. Fight the Good Fight has some great tracks on it.

Next is the band I’ve known of forever, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. I know them from their contribution to the soundtrack to The Crow. Great near spoken word industrial feel that gives me an early White Zombie vibe. I focused on their new album In the House of Strange Affairs.

4. Camera Play: #MiniMusicMonday is going strong.

5. Word Play: While I did read four books, I didn’t finish a physical book. I’m about 50 pages shy on that. But four is four. And I am 50% of the way to my annual goal a month ahead of schedule.

6. Update Play: You’re reading it.

I’ll try to do something on my blog in June. May be small, but something.

Saw Rocketman today. FABULOUS!!

I really want to see that, too.

You are just killing that reading goal.

About the only one I’m killing. Heh.

Ohhhh, The Interrupters sounds like my cup of tea. Off to Spotify I go.

Let me know what you think.
