July Goals...

I’m sorry this is so late. I always like getting this out in the 1st of the month, but Macro Monday on the 1st, Walkman 40th on the 2nd, John on the 3rd, the holiday on the 4th... anyway. I even had this post mostly written a week ago. So, um, I copy/pasted old code to start this post and forgot to change the intro paragraph. Whoops.

1. Blog Play: I re-added a Google Site Search this past month. But, since it's free, it has promoted content at the top of the results so we'll see how long this lasts. It's over there in the right column (or, at least, it should be) -->

2. Video Play: Another (at least I think it is) fun Nathan video about his music and dance, er, talents?

3. Music Play: Three new bands this past month all related to the Pitchfork Music Festival and my cassette haul that I reported the other day

I'm not really going to get into the nitty gritty on them other than to say they're awesome and you should give them all a listen.

Kero Kero Bonito - Time 'n' Place

Jay Som - Everybody Works

Pedro the Lion - Phoenix

4. Camera Play: #MiniMusicMonday is going strong.

5. Word Play: Six books in July. Three graphic novels and three books.

One book shy of my achievement last month but more than enough to surpass the pace I need to hit my 2019 reading goal. In fact, after only seven months, I'm more than 75% of the way to my goal!

6. Update Play: You’re reading it.

I promised to get you the goal update much sooner this month and I came through! That's another goal achieved!

Is it a month late or right on time, I'm confused?

I copied and pasted old code and forgot to change the intro. D’oh!
