I'm going to warn you now, this is unlike anything Pearl Jam has ever released in the past. It's very much a hybrid of rock and synth pop. Even with some of Eddie Vedder's trademark vocal snarl that feels like it's been forever since I've heard. 

I've always been very forgiving of Pearl Jam's change in sound and tone over the decades. They've always been pretty ADHD in that regard so they manage to pull it off better than most bands that otherwise stick to a single swimlane. Add to that my innate love of all things synth pop and...

I LOVE IT!

Oh, I cannot wait for this album!

And, #sorrynotsorry, but this couldn't wait for next Tu(n)esday although I'm going to categorize it as such.
