Dance...

Remember how I said that Pearl Jam was going to be dropping a new single soon? That "soon" happened today with the release of "Dance of the Clairvoyants."

I'm going to warn you now, this is unlike anything Pearl Jam has ever released in the past. It's very much a hybrid of rock and synth pop. Even with some of Eddie Vedder's trademark vocal snarl that feels like it's been forever since I've heard. 

I've always been very forgiving of Pearl Jam's change in sound and tone over the decades. They've always been pretty ADHD in that regard so they manage to pull it off better than most bands that otherwise stick to a single swimlane. Add to that my innate love of all things synth pop and...
