TBT: Accidental...

Seven years and two days ago, I snapped what remains one of my all-time favorite photos of Nathan. And it was purely by accident, too, that I took it.

We were in the parking lot of our local Meijer’s heading in to shop and Katie had put Nathan into the baby basket part of a shopping cart into which she had first put a cloth liner. Nathan started nibbling on the handle of the cart through the cloth and I was going to take a picture of him gnawing at it for kicks.

At the very last second, he reared his head up and gave me one of the biggest, purest smiles I’ve ever seen from him.

I can’t believe it was seven years ago already.

This is another photo I found of him while perusing Flickr. It is seven years old today and I do not remember taking it to save my life. But I still think it’s great!
