Libroqueue 2020.04...

This month has kinda gotten away from me in more ways than one. I guess that's me explaining why my mid-month and end-of-month Libroqueue posts may both be happening in short order. But, then again, this month didn't necessarily go as planned in terms of my monthly reading goal.

First off, the graphic novels. I've read one of the Bandette books, but not the second. I did, however, read an unplanned graphic novel in Justin Jordan's Breaklands that I just wrapped up the other night. I'll probably still read Bandette book 2. Just gotta squeeze it in there somewhere.

I spent a good half of October trying to get into Strange Hotel before I finally gave up about 50 pages in. I replaced that with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which I actually enjoyed. I'm about 70 pages into The Remaking right now and am truly enjoying the gothic horror feel to it. I'm pretty sure I can get it done before the end of the month.

I'm most of the way through The Only Good Indians, but it's been a rough listen. The book isn't what was promised by early reviews and I'm having a very tough time maintaining my attention. If I make it through by the end of the month, it will likely be the only audiobook I finish to the detriment of Socialism... Seriously: A Brief Guide to Human Liberation, which I'm not really feeling at this point in the game anyway.

Wish me luck!

(Yes, I recycled graphics... deal with it).
