Redesign...
Yanno what? Forget testing it out. If I don't pull the trigger and launch my new site now, I'm never going to. It's not like I don't have the old design saved that I can't easily revert to if something is completely out of whack, right?
So, here it is. For better or for worse.
Some notes...
The two most recent posts are listed in the top two cards on the site.
You can always find my latest two posts here.
The big banner post at the top is the "Featured Post," meant to highlight something that I don't necessarily want to lose too quickly.
I will always have something here, but so as not to confuse visitors as to which are my two latest posts, the Featured Post will always be one that has already scrolled out of the New Post cards. I hope this is a decent compromise so no one has to guess what's the newest post if they don't use an RSS aggregator.
I decided to eliminate my navigation bar (hamburger menu when viewed on a mobile device). I think it just hid everything too much. What was there can now be found in a few spots on the site.
The feed link is now in the top bar...
Most of my miscellaneous links like my bio, social media links, archives, and rankings page are under my headshot in the sidebar...
Links to my fellow bloggers are in the sidebar instead of being hidden on another page. There are so few of those anymore that posting them right in the sidebar really isn't taking up much real estate...
Any questions? Let me know. In two days, this post will be Featured! So long as I remember.
Woah. Look at this. I really like it. Still on Typepad or did you move to something else?

Still Typepad. They added a new “magazine” template that I built off.
